I’m pretty sure you guys have heard about this Trick Eye Museum which is located at Sentosa. Basically refers to an art technique that turns 2D paintings into 3D Images through the use of optical illusions. With that, 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life. Visitors can explore the various galleries with their eyes, hands and even cameras.

Some of my friends who had been there told me that the place is quite interesting. Full of wonders and fantasies that can make you the subject of the various artwork on display. And also by looking at the photos that they are posted in their Facebook; I’ll say they are. So I asked my girlfriend whether she’s interested. She’s ok with it.

Until some time later she told me of another place, which is rather similar. Its called Alive Museum.

My first thinking was it could be something like the Wax Museum. My girlfriend told me that few of her friends had been there. And according to them, its something like the Trick Eye Museum. But better.

Errr…..as in they were really alive?? O.o

Well, I agreed to the alternative. We went yesterday the 5th. Its located at Suntec City Mall, at level 3 between Towers 3 and 4. From its information gathered, is Korea’s original and biggest chain of Illusionary Entertainment Museum. Its brand new in Singapore. It infuses and modernizes the concept of art into fun and entertainment. There’s more than 80 artwork exhibits and made “alive” with 3D painting, shading and drawing techniques that create visual illusions.

It wasn’t a big place. But some of the galleries were indeed an eye-opener. There’s 3D, Digital and Object Art. As part of Singapore, some of the galleries were locally themed paintings in addition to the other interactive exhibits. There’s the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and others. There’s even a Superhero theme. Batman, Superman, Spiderman and few others. Furthermore, there’s indicators on the floor for those taking photos. So that you know where to position yourself to had the best photos taken.

The best photos taken will speak for you =D

Its definitely worth visiting. Feeling like we are part of these awesome masterpiece. For the Trick Eye Museum that I had mentioned earlier, we will still intend to visit the place one day. The Alive Museum is an exciting place, where you can be part of both fantasy and masterpiece. And given by the amount of positive comments and all, I won’t denied that since I had experience it.

But still, we gonna check out the Trick Eye Museum to immerse ourselves once again into art that comes to life! Friends had been there and they say its an awesome place. Many thumbs up.

We just have to see for ourselves =)
