Captain’s log                                 Stardate: 62013.9 (May 7th, 2012)

I was been invited through Facebook, to come down for this Cosplay Competition which takes place at Bukit Batok Community Center yesterday the 6th. Good thing it landed on my off day. But I did not take part in the competition. Just to be there for the fun of cosplaying, since the organizers accept that.

So me and my gang members of Power Rangers and Kamen Riders were up for it yesterday. And its also just right for me to test out my Defender Vest that I had created out of evafoam. This vest was seen in Power Rangers Operational Overdrive. You might be wondering like many others, as they are so curious to know as to why this Red Ranger from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR) dons the Defender Vest?

Well, if anyone of you, especially Power Rangers fans remember that episode where Adam, the Black Ranger from MMPR makes a comeback together with five other veterans rangers from different series. He managed to gain access in initiating the Defender Vest to dons on him.

So, my answer will be: If the Black Ranger can don the vest, do can the Red Ranger. Though its not really that legit, since Adam is the only Black Ranger from MMPR to experience it. But infact, as according to research, the Defender Vest is meant for all Rangers!

These selected awesome photos were taken by some of the photographers. Many credits to them for making us to be part of the spotlight! =D

Though the event was a small one, we still enjoy our time there and had fun interacting with the people. Especially getting to know new cosplayers. There’s quite a number of first timers, as what I had notice. Sooner or later, you guys will be addicted to this. Just like your seniors. Hehe…=P

Lastly, many thanks to the people who had put in alot of effort into this event. We really enjoyed it to the very last. You guys are awesome! And hopefully we can have another round of this event soon! =)
