I’ve recently brought this small size fit-in-the-pocket type digital camera from Sony. This one is a Cyber-Shot DSC W120 model, which enhances a 7.2 megapixel. I once read it in the news, along with other cameras been advertised. Based on the features and specifications from the DSC W110/W115/W120/W125 and W130, I found out that it was indeed, a cool camera. Especially for those who were so engrossed in taking clear snapshots after snapshots.

One of the most interesting features was the Smile Shutter. It enables the camera to detects a person smile when focus, and the shutter will be released automatically. How cool was that! =D There’s even a Twilight Portrait, where the user can shoot sharp images of people in a dark place without losing the nighttime atmosphere. Not to mention, it comes with a movie mode, that allows the user to record movies with audio. Ultimately, the camera can also played back a series of images with effects and music. Or refer as slideshows. Based on the settings, the music will change together with the effects, and that the user can also transfer and change the music to the user’s desired songs. Cool!

There were ten settings for the mode dial, and I can choose a variety of them to the desired function. One of them, known as SCN, short for Scene Selection, whereby four settings will appeared when I press the menu. “Twilight” is one of them. There’s “Beach” that allows the user to shoots seaside or lakeside scenes with the blueness of the water captured more vividly. There’s “Snow” where snow scenes appeared in white more clearly. Lastly, “Fireworks” where users can shoot those fireworks in all their splendor.

I’m yet to try these cool functions, as I’m still quite new to the settings. To be frank, I’m actually planning to buy one of the models somewhere in the future. But seeing that I had enough budget with me on that day, why not grabbed one? Besides, I was hoping for a digital camera like this for quite some time. This Cyber-Shot DSC W120 model cost me $399. A dollar to $400. The memory stick duo that comprises of 4GB, that comes with its adapter was been added to the list. As well as the camera casing. There’s even a page, that listed out the battery life and memory capacity. 350 to 400 shots can be taken within 175 to 215 mins at appromax.

Now that’s a lot to enjoy snapping photos around =D
